The eyes of the Law, he thought sardonically, and hugged himself with venomous glee.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Unfortunately Steve&#8217;s follow-up line, &#8220;The throwback has been thrown forward, into a dispiriting present that barely masks a dystopian future,&#8221; was inadvertently formatted to look like a part of the REH quote rather than separate from it.
