So,\u00a0without further ado, let&#8217;s look at upcoming\u00a0publications featuring either\u00a0the works of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/?cat=75\">Man From Providence<\/a> or those of his acolytes, all of which bear some connection (sometimes tenuous) to <a href=\"http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/?cat=46\">Our Reason For Being<\/a> here at <em>The Cimmerian<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Courtesy of <em>Coming Attractions<\/em>, we\u00a0find that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.girasolcollectables.com\/\">Girasol Collectables<\/a>, publishers of several fine facsimile editions of the pulp appearances of Robert E. Howard, is gearing up to present two volumes collecting all the stories of Lovecraft which appeared in <em>Weird Tales<\/em>. Besides being good horror authors, they&#8217;re also REH fans, from what I gather. All in all, it looks to be a good anthology. \u00a0According to Martin Andersson, there will be a tale from Ramsey Campbell (another long-time Howard-head) included.<\/p>\n<p>Speaking of <a href=\"http:\/\/www.michaelsheaauthor.com\/#news\">Michael Shea<\/a>&#8230; Besides having &#8220;Copping Squid&#8221; included in the anthology\u00a0above,\u00a0Shea&#8217;s story\u00a0also appears\u00a0(obviously enough)\u00a0in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Copping-Squid-Other-Mythos-Tales\/dp\/0970400020\">Copping Squid\u00a0and Other Mythos Tales<\/a><\/em> from Perilous Press. This collection of Shea&#8217;s Mythos tales looks first-rate and has been a long time coming.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-7244\" title=\"shea-squid\" src=\"http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/shea-squid.jpg\" alt=\"shea-squid\" width=\"240\" height=\"240\" srcset=\"http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/shea-squid.jpg 240w, http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/shea-squid-150x150.jpg 150w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 240px) 100vw, 240px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Shea made his bones (and won a World Fantasy award)\u00a0writing Vancean yarns about his thief among thieves, Nifft the Lean. Nifft always had more than a bit of a Howardian (and <a href=\"http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/?cat=74\">Klarkash-Tonian<\/a>)\u00a0cachet about him, to my mind.\u00a0During the last twenty years, however, Shea has been turning\u00a0his talents\u00a0more towards finely-crafted (and disturbing)\u00a0stories of Lovecraftian horror primarily set in his home-town of San Francisco.
