On the left is Davy Jones as envisioned by Walt Disney filmmakers for the new <em>Pirates of the Caribbean<\/em> movie, <em>Dead Man&#8217;s Chest<\/em>. Next to it, on the right, is Gary Gianni&#8217;s design for Davy Jones from his 1997 <em>Corpus Monstrum<\/em> comic book, &#8220;Autopsy in B-Flat.&#8221;<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/leogrin.com\/CimmerianBlog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/07\/davy_jones.jpg\" id=\"image119\" alt=\"davy_jones.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Another coincidence?
